Another Brilliant Moment

For those who read Quotable Moments, here's another academic milestone from moi.

In my fiction workshop class we were discussing a period piece set in France. During discussion the author asked if we were all familiar with Mont St. Michele (this is relevant to the text being discussed). Most people say, "yes." I ask, "Is that the place Captain Pete takes Mickey Mouse in the Three Musketeers?" The author politely says, "yes." Another academic achievement. Still, not as bad as when I pissed off Padre by unveiling I only knew the answer to his question about Cartagena, because I didn't do the reading and instead watched Romancing the Stone.
