I like people to be understandable, predictable, heck- come with a mission statement, redeemed, and demonstrate clear purpose and direction.
Honestly, I wouldn't like people like that for long. In the end, please, be ambiguous. Not for the hell of it, but for the journey you are on, for the distance you've yet to travel, for the multi-faceted character you are.
I don't want you to be impossible to hold, but malleable, indefinable, a verbose, rambling, litany of juxtaposition when you are describable.
I want to see you. I want to know you. I want to learn you one step-at-a-time. Like good fiction, show what's true, and don't fake any part of you. It's honest to be ambiguous. Or you could just be another asshole that pretends to know it all.

I'm not sure why, but that reminds me of a song by Pale Divine. "Something about you."
I remember back in the day when I hung with the South City crowd there was a girl who couldn't figure me out for the longest time. She always referenced that song about me.
Weird how writing brings back odd memories. Weird how I remember anything at all

Ah, Pale Divine!
"Something About Me" - by Pale Divine
You are my addiction
My pleasure and my pain
You're my infection
Disease you burn my vein
My fate is frozen, it's a destiny you fix
You are my addiction, my reason to exist
I thought I saw you leaning fashionably
against the bar
Your face, your, your face is everywhere I look, you know
Your scent, your touch, your voice
You haunt my nervous system with your soul
It's a fact, you're everywhere I ever will be
I got mirrors on my eyelids
To help me see inside my soul
(You're my addiction)
You're my addiction
You built the walls of chaos in my soul
So warm within you, without you I'm so cold
But I can't even drink you off my mind
Love must be dumb as well as blind
You are my addiction
My pleasure and my pain
You're my infection
Disease you burn my vein
My fate is frozen, it's a destiny you fix
I know you're my addiction
You're the way I get my fix
You're my addiction
(You're my addiction)
You're my, you're my addiction
(You're my addiction)
Oh, you're my vice
(You're my addiction)
You're my, you're my addiction
(You're my addiction)
Give it, give it, give it, give it to me
(You're my addiction)

you quoted "My Addiction" alice
something about me is
There must be something about me
That makes you stare
There must be something inside me
That makes you scared
There must be something you see
That I can't see, and it's all over me
There must be something about me
There must be something about me
That makes you think I'm strange
There must be something inside me
It's something I can't change
When I look back on what was yesterday
You didn't have so much to say
Hey hey hey, now
But now there's something you see
That I can't see, and it's all over me
There must be something about me
There must be something about me
(Something about me)
There must be something, there must be something about me
About me, baby
There must be something about me
That makes you stare
There must be something inside me
That makes you scared, yeah yeah yeah
When I look back on what was yesterday, hey hey
You didn't have so much to say
Hey hey hey, now
But now there's something you see
That I can't see, and it's all over me
There must be something about me
There must be something about me
(Something about me)
There must be something, there must be something about me girl, now
Something about me
Something, something
Something, something
There must be something about me
There must be something
Yeah, there must be something, something...
Something about me
Something, something
There must be something about me
Something, something
Something about me, yeah yeah, yeah yeah
There must be, there must be
There must be something about me
(Something about me)
(Something about me)
(Something about me
You are correct. After further digging, I discovered that my first site was not reliable. Also, in my digging I discovered Rainbox. Did you ever see them play? I did not.
Also, Mr. Back in the Day? Who was this girl? And Who R U? Furthermore, do I sound obsessed with an individual? I'm curious. The you was meant in general in some cases, and in specific in others.
anon# one...don't think i ever saw Rainbox. I miss the days when we went out to see local bands. but now my problem is staying awake past 10pm
anon#1 I saw something truly sad today. Richard Fortus' website. I remember when he was cool.
