Decision From On High

Compassion found in court that church could not provide. As a supporter of freedom and equality, I'm pleased to see hatemongers fined. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/31/funeral.protest/?iref=mpstoryview

anon #1 --I don't know what god these people believe in b/c the GOD that I believe in doesn't hate anyone and only has a message of love and forgiveness. My question to these people is "Do you seriously think that servicemen will stop dying in WAR if the US suddenly condemns gays?" That's a strange correlation. Maybe we should picket any funerals at that church saying that if one of their membership dies they are being stricken down by god for all of their hate.

Yeah, I love the religious nutjobs that either ignore the "He without sin, throw the first stone" quote. Or just say that he was talking about those who don't believe in him; that God has chosen them to be the judge of humanity...

Didn't Jesus hang out with the prostitutes and other unsavory unloved unwanted people? I would think if he were alive today (other than he'd be fucking old) that he would be hanging out with the gays, the people with aids, and any other people in trouble.
