First Monday As a Born Again Stay at Home Mom

I just peeled a heart shaped sticker from my face. I'd forgotten she put it there. It would explain the smirk from the kid at Radio Shack. After the incident with the strategically placed Dierbergs stickers doubling as pastes on my winter coat, a heart on my face is no biggie.

However, there seems to still be room for embarrassment. It starts with there being one cat too many in our lives. I don't embarrass easily. In fact, until oh so recently I made a living writing about cat poop. We own two living, breathing cats Kafka and Cayce. Bella also has a multitude of stuffed cat toys, bobble headed kitties, clothes with kitties; it is kitty overload.

Bella has not been one for originality when it came to naming her toys. Every white doll she owns, save for the ones received most recently, have been named Katie. All the teddy bears are Teddy, except the blue one named Beary(Manillow). There are several kittens named kitty. But recently she's attempted to branch out in her naming of these stuffed animals. And now there is Meow-Meow, Little Miss Cutie, and Pussy.

Unfortunately, Pussy is the current favorite and must go everywhere we go. And she calls it by name, she coos over Pussy, she reprimands Pussy, and declares "I just love Pussy! Don't you?"
I've casually suggested other names, even pussycat. But she is adamant about Pussy. My current stance is to ignore it. But I can sense we are one embarrassing incident away from her getting a new toy, just to distract her from Pussy.

Very funny and cute. I could see where this story was going.... I'm so looking forward to those days myself. The interesting names for toys that is. Although the boy seems to have located the one attached to himself already... Sa

We have (almost) the same blog name. I just thought you may be interested in knowing. Wanna know how I found it? In it's intelligence, blogger shows your posts as mine on a widget. I wonder if the same widget shows my posts as yours?

Stupid blogger. Or stupid widget!
Cheers!
