The Discomforts of Home

The chandelier
I have discovered that the chandelier went out of fashion for a practical reason. It does not have a fan. I sit in the Alice room. I sit under the beautiful wrought iron and crystal chandelier. I sit with the window open, and nothing. No breeze. No playful flutter of the papers on my desk. It's hot.

The Smells
When you adopt a cat you adopt smell. I adopted two cats. They each have their own litter box. Both are kept in the lower level of our home. I use Tidy Cats litter "multiple strengths for multiple cats." I scoop. I clean. I sweep. I bought a Renuzit. Apparently this seemed like such a good idea to KC that I came home to find the Renuzit in the litter box. I bought a new Renuzit - Honeysuckle/Vanilla scent. Now, when you enter the house you catch a whiff of the vanilla - like fresh baked cookies and you instinctively take a deeper whiff and get cat poop. So, essentially when you enter my home it smells like we are baking cat poop cookies.

Have you thought of a desktop fan or a box fan? Something to move around the smell and create a breeze.

Two birds with one stone... if you will.
