illiterate

When hiring make sure that the person can and will read. I'm tired of writing entire documents, only to have to verbalize it all later. I'm tired of attaching documents to an email only to have the same copy requested 4 times, because they never actually opened the document and read it. Have we entered a new age of illiteracy based on laziness? Can people only be bothered to point and click on icons? READ people!

idiots. they are all idiots. some horses cannot be taught to drink, no matter where you put the trough. some loud mouth, know it alls, can't be taught to do their job, no matter how much time you offer to help. they still send you an email saying, "can't you do it for me? i need to leave early for movie night." when you already clearly told them to do their job, b/c it is not yours to do.

I couldn't agree more. There is nothing more frustrating then spending your time doing something, and even providing instructions --that late no one even looks at or follow. People suggest --"Well what if you said this or that in the instructions" and I say "Doesn't do much good if the end user doesn't stop to read it".
