It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...
It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...
I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.
So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

Maybe you could go with the George Michael's blues next time and sing the song "I want your sex." :-)

anon #1 loving the trip down memory lane to childhood. i can't read those lines w/o singing them in my head. although... i sense there is a subtext here.
on another note..bought Old School Sesame Street DVDs for the son for Christmas..or was it for me? very cool.
OH, does it have "here, fishy, fishy, fishy?"
anon #1 ..who sings that one? we only got into the first disk but it had "Being Green" and "Rubber Duckie" and a young James Earle Jones reciting the alphabet OH and Oscar singing "I Love Trash" back when he was orange in color.
