Who wrote that? And Why?
This is what I think, on occasion, when emptying my Spam folder. I know it's Spam, but still. I use to write 50 or so subject lines every week in my former job. We did A/B testing, we had charts and graphs. I attended conferences and read the experts. Yes, there is a science to writing these things. A science that drives traffic, qualified traffic, which drives revenue!
Okay, so these Spam Artists are probably not making this investment. They are going with a shotgun approach. I know. But who, who is going to be compelled to open an email with the
subject line: Free Colon Bottle
