Well, that's a long freaky story. But I'm talking about his music. And I don't care who you are, if you are a gen Xer there was a time in your life when Michael Jackson was cool. So, what happened to his music?
This isn't something I dwell on, but I was listening to Beat-It on the radio. And I have to admit I really like it. I really like the guitar. Then I wondered what happened to those kind of riffs in his music? I know he's not the one playing, so who was it? Well, come to find out it was Eddie Van Halen lending a hand in Beat-It. I never knew that. Now, there would be a reunion tour! Van Halen should get Michael Jackson as their front man. I don't know how it would turn out, but it sure would sell tickets.

you just found out about Eddie doing the guitar riff in Beat-it? I miss those guitar riffs in the music of today.....ahhh good old 80's arena rock. Now Van Halen is going on tour again, reunited with Dave and with Eddie's son on bass (Michael Anthony hangs with Sammy and his band).
BTW Sammy Hagar turns 60 (or did on the 13th). Our rock gods are getting old. and on the MJ front it sure is nice to hear a little Beat-it or Wanna be startin' something on the radio every now and then.
Who is Michael Anthony? The only two I know of are Hall and Orlando. I thought Eddie's son was named Wolfgang. And yeah, I just found out. You wanna be startin' something?
Michael Anthony was Van Halen's bass player but now Wolfgang is taking his place. yeah, i wann be startin' somethin'
